“ The staff was super friendly and this is the kind of place where everyone knows each other and the tables are all talking to each other. They made us feel welcome, though, and food came out quick. The breading on the catfish was crisp, which I like. My boyfriend enjoyed his ribeye steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Hushpuppies were another highlight! I'd definitely come back if I was in the area ”
“ My husband and I ate here for lunch for the first time Friday, February 7, 2025. Our neighbors recommendation. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table, our waitress took our drink order and was back quickly to get our food order plus brought a basket of hush puppies (crispy outside, tender inside with a hint of sweetness) He ordered catfish and shrimp with French fries plus an order of onion rings. I ordered the 12 fried shrimp meal with a baked potato which came with butter and sour cream on the side, both came with cole slaw (the dressing was fresh and not overpowering.) Shrimp sauce, tartar sauce and several bottled hot sauces plus salt & pepper were on the table. Staff was friendly and efficient, food was very good. The light breading on the fish, shrimp and onion rings was crispy and the seafood moist and flavorful. Portions were decent and prices too. We got a to go box for leftovers. They have plenty of seating in the dining area and many tables were occupied with happy customers. We will definitely come back ”
“ Food taste awesome and very good service. Prices are reasonable as well. Overall cleanliness of the restaurant is good. ”
“ Busy local lunch spot. Service was a little slow but it wasn't on the wait staff. They didn't have enough of them for all the tables. Basic fried fish restaurant but the food was fresh, tasty and hot. ”
“ We were passing through and decided to give Leon's a try. So glad we did! Hubs and I both had catfish and shrimp; both were delicious! The hushpuppies were very good and the slaw was fresh. Kelly was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. ”
“ The last of that review was in never going to let those frog legs near my mouth .. sorry spell check and being in a rush doesn't pan out but their food is great & the service is fantastic ”
“ There are only a few items that are not fried, however, that being said - the fried items are not greasy. The Cole slaw is extremely balanced and flavorful. The catfish is a large enough portion to share! Friendly service, great pricing for the portion size. ”
